    Produced in 2009, this very special limited-edition Ambassador’s bottle commemorates America’s oldest remaining “retail whisky store,” the Quart House, which can still be seen today at the Maker’s Mark Distillery.

    2008 Ambassador “Whisky Creek” Bottle

    One of Kentucky’s few remaining covered bridges stands over Whisky Creek here at the Maker’s Mark Distillery. The bridge was built with a unique trapezoidal design, and in 2008 we created this special Ambassador’s bottle commemorating its place in Maker’s Mark history.

    Created for our Ambassadors, this decorative limited-edition bottle was created in 2007 and features horse and rider charging toward the finish line. It was available for personal dipping at our 6th Annual Thoroughbreds & Redheads Weekend.

    Produced in 2005, this limited-edition Ambassador’s bottle was created for our 2005 Thoroughbreds & Redheads Weekend in celebration of two time-honored Kentucky traditions – Maker’s Mark and the Kentucky Thoroughbred.

    In celebration of the 50th anniversary of our beloved whisky, we created this limited-edition bottle exclusively for our annual gathering of Ambassadors during the 2004 Thoroughbreds & Redheads Weekend at the Maker’s Mark Distillery.

    2003 Ambassador “Redhead” Bottle

    This limited-edition bottle was made exclusively for Maker’s Mark Ambassadors and features the famed red-wax horse head on the label. It was available for personal dipping during the 2003 Thoroughbreds & Redheads Weekend at the distillery.

    2002 Ambassador "Barrel Dedication" Bottle

    When Maker’s Mark fans sign up to become Ambassadors, they get their names on one of the actual barrels in our warehouse. Created in 2002, these special commemorative Ambassador bottles celebrate that tradition with a barrel emblem stamped on top of each red wax seal.

    2006 Turfway “Oscar Robertson” Bottle

    The 2006 Maker’s Mark Turfway Lanes End Stakes Bottle was created in honor of legendary NBA great and University of Cincinnati alumni Oscar Robertson. The bottle commemorates the 2006 Lane’s End Stakes at Turfway Park, and sales benefited Oscar and Yvonne Robertson’s Family Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation and the Founder’s Scholarship.

    2007 Turfway “Brennaman and Nuxhall” Bottle

    Celebrating the accomplishments of longtime Cincinnati Reds broadcasters Marty Brennaman and Joe Nuxhall, this special “baseball” bottle was produced in 2007. The bottle also commemorates the 2007 running of the Lane’s End Stakes at Turfway Park, and proceeds from sales of the bottles went to two charities specifically chosen by the broadcasters themselves.

    2008 Turfway “Johnny Bench” Bottle

    This 2008 special-edition bottle features famed Cincinnati Reds catcher Johnny Bench and celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum. Commemorating the 2008 Lane’s End Stakes at Turfway Park, the bottle was available in very limited supply.

    2009 Turfway “Boomer Esiason” Bottle

    Created in 2009, this special black-wax bottle features former All-Pro Quarterback Boomer Esiason. The bottle commemorates Turfway Park’s 2009 Lane’s End Stakes, and proceeds of all sales benefited the Boomer Esiason Foundation. The foundation helps raise money to fight Cystic Fibrosis – a disease affecting millions, including Boomer’s own son, Gunnar.
