When will my barrel of Maker’s Mark® be ready?

We age Maker’s Mark® to taste, not to age. Depending on the weather, it can take anywhere from 6 to 7-1/2 years from the point when you receive your barrel certificate for your whisky to mature. Your age-o-meter will provide you with an approximate time when your barrel will be ready.

What will happen when my barrel of Maker’s Mark® has matured?

Once the whisky in your barrel of Maker’s Mark® is mature, we’ll send you an invitation via both email and snail mail to visit our distillery so you can purchase a bottle (or two) that came from your batch. Don’t worry – we’ll give you plenty of notice so you can plan the trip!
