Three Kentucky Summers

After three years, the tasting panel samples the bourbon to determine if the barrels are ready to be rotated down to a cooler more humid lower part of the warehouse for the rest of the aging process. This brings balance and color to the finished product by preventing the Maker's Mark® from maturing too quickly and ultimately enhances the overall flavor of the bourbon.
