After a successful first year, we brought a group of Whisky Drop members back to the distillery to have a hand in crafting two original Private Selection expressions. The theme was spring, and the results nailed the mark – landing the taste inspiration of spring berry bread pudding and strawberry shortcake. Whether you’re a sweet tooth or just a bourbon lover, this’ll be a good one.
Maker’s Mark® 101 & Maker’s Mark® 2023 CommUNITY Batch
For many, it’s the season of giving. For us, it’s also the season of sharing. This Drop, we’re including our seasonal release of Maker’s Mark 101 – something we’ve been pouring with others for a couple generations now. We’re also including our Whisky Drop exclusive 2023 CommUNITY Batch release – a special blend selected by the mentors of The LEE Initiative’s Women Culinary and Spirits program, proceeds of this bottle sale will be donated back to the program. The holidays are a time for both enjoying and giving back.
Maker’s Mark® Cellar Aged & Maker’s Mark® Cask Strength
Since we created our limestone cellar, we quietly began exploring the limits of what our bourbon could be. Soon began the secret creation of our first blend of 11- to 12-year-old bourbon. Well, the secret is out now and coming to the next Drop alongside Cask Strength – the same liquid Cellar Aged began as before its additional aging in our always-cool cellar. It’s good to get that off our chest and to finally get this special bourbon into your glass.

In this shipment we’re bringing you the final installment of our Wood Finishing Series’ first chapter – a tribute to our lower barrel entry proof. We’re pairing it with the whisky wisdom of our Chairman Emeritus, Bill Samuels, Jr. – the creator of Maker’s Mark 46® – in the form of Maker’s Mark 46® Cask Strength.
Maker’s Mark® 2022 CommUNITY Batch® & Maker’s Mark® Classic: Holiday Edition
We’re delivering a couple gifts early – two exclusive bottles you can only get in your drop. What better way to kick off our Whisky Drop than with two of the hardest-to-find bourbons we’ve released in recent years (and arguably a couple of our best). Unlike last year, though, the only place you may need to look to find a bottle could be your front doorstep. We set aside a few bottles of our 2019 and 2020 Limited Releases just for Whisky Drop members like you.

Joining The Whisky Drop will allow you to receive unique shipments of whisky from the Star Hill Farm, delivered right to your doorstep! Each shipment will contain bottles of our newest releases, unique offerings, and our most sought after whiskies. Shipments will be sent out every three to four months, depending on the availability of our best offerings.
Other than the whisky, you will also receive exclusive content, virtual tastings, news from Star Hill Farm, a complimentary tour of campus, and invitations to events in your area!
In addition to receiving whisky shipments delivered right to your door featuring our newest releases and limited release whiskies, you will also enjoy the following:

Currently, The Whisky Drop by Maker’s Mark® is only open to consumers in Kentucky, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota and Washington, D.C., living in a territory where direct shipments of distilled spirits from manufacturers are permitted and where alcoholic beverages, including distilled spirits, may be lawfully sold and received.

If you live in a location not yet eligible for the program, you will be directed to join our Mailing List, and we will notify you via email if we begin shipping to your area.
Because of the program has limited availability, you may be directed to complete our Waitlist form until spots are available. But do not worry! Once a spot opens, you’ll be automatically added and notified.
There is no annual fee to be a member. You may join any time throughout the year, subject to availability. Each shipment will cost between $150 and $250, depending on the products included in each Drop. The credit card on file will be charged approximately one week ahead of each shipment. The charge may appear as “Jim Beam Brands Co.” and will consist of the retail value of the subscription—which includes a flat-rate shipping fee—and any applicable tax.
For any failed credit/debit card payments, we will attempt to reprocess the card for a total of three times during one business week. After three failed attempts, you will forfeit the shipment and your membership will be canceled.
In addition to the cost of each shipment, your order confirmation email will show taxes charged based on your state of residence:
• Kentucky – sales tax (6%), alcohol wholesale tax (11%) and alcohol state excise tax ($1.92/gallon)
• Nebraska – sales tax (5.5%) and applicable local city sales tax
• New Hampshire - alcohol fee (8%)
• North Dakota – alcohol sales tax (7%) and applicable local county and city sales taxes
• Washington, D.C. – alcohol sales tax (10.25%)
By joining The Whisky Drop by Maker’s Mark®, you certify and acknowledge that:
- You are over the age of 21.
- Any delivery address designated by you is located in a territory where direct shipments of distilled spirits from manufacturers are permitted and where alcoholic beverages, including distilled spirits, may be lawfully sold and received.
- Products are for personal consumption only, are not for resale and will not be resold or introduced to commerce.
- All items are final sales. Returns and refunds will not be accepted.
- Delivery of the shipment will be executed via UPS. You, or another recipient at least 21 years of age, must be physically present to accept delivery.
