Know before you go
First trip to Marker’s Mark? We’ve got you covered. Everything you need to know all in one place: from how to get there, hours of operation, what to expect, plus a few tips & tricks!
Directions & Parking
We are located at 3350 Burkes Spring Rd, Loretto, KY 40037.
There are a few ways to find us - if you prefer a more adventurous drive, you will want to take the route that takes you down Maker's Mark Road (we do not recommend this route if you are driving a large vehicle). If you prefer a route that has two separate lanes the entire drive, make sure that Maker's Mark Road is NOT a part of your GPS's route (we recommend coming in on Bill Samuel's Jr. Rd. right off of Highway 52).
If you are taking an Uber/Lyft, please plan ahead for a ride back to where you need to go. There are very limited (and sometimes no available) taxi services near our location.
Park in the Visitor Parking Lot (follow signs for "Tours"), check in at the Visitor's Center, and let the fun begin!
Tour Info
- We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time (don't forget - Maker's Mark® is located in Eastern Standard Time).
- Bring your ID for check-in and leave cash at home (card-only currently).
- You'll be spending time inside and outside, so dress accordingly, especially since Mother Nature gets her laughs by occasionally throwing us some weather curveballs.
- Keep your feet happy. There's a good bit of walking, so wear comfortable shoes.
- Yes, you can take pictures. We think this will be a memory you'll want to keep. (We just ask you do not film the entire tour)
the magic of maker’s mark
There’s more to Maker’s Mark than just a distillery tour. At Star Hill Farm, you can dip your own bottle, explore seasonal exhibitions, enjoy cocktail and culinary experiences, and see how our bourbon is made—up close. Set on a working farm in the heart of Kentucky, it’s a place where craftsmanship and nature go hand in hand. It’s not just a visit. It’s everything we’re proud to share.
