Cherry Vanilla Poptail

Cherry Vanilla Poptail

Recipe (1 Serving)

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. cherries (fresh or frozen, pitted)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla simple syrup
  • 1/4 cup (2 oz.) water
  • 1½ teaspoons fresh lime juice

Instructions

  • Blend cherries, water, syrup, and lime juice until smooth.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or lime, if needed.
  • Pour into one 4 oz. popsicle mold.
  • Freeze for 4–6 hours, or until solid.
  • Add to a Maker’s Mark® Bourbon Sour and enjoy.

 

Cherry Vanilla

(Batch Recipe — 10 Servings)

Ingredients

  • 32 oz. bag of cherries (fresh or frozen, pitted)
  • 1/2 cup vanilla simple syrup*
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons fresh lime juice

Optional Plus-Up

  • Reserve chopped cherry pieces to add to the mold.

* Vanilla Simple Syrup

  • Equal parts water and turbinado sugar
  • 2 scraped vanilla bean pods or 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Allow to cool before use

Peach Green Tea Batch

Peach Green Tea

(Batch Recipe — 10 Servings) 

Ingredients 

  • 32 oz. bag of peaches (fresh or frozen, pitted)
  • 8 single-serve green tea (or black tea) bags, brewed and cooled**
  • 8 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 

Optional Plus-Up 

  • Add lemon slices or frozen/fresh peach slices to the mold. 

** Brewed Tea 

  • Steep tea bags in 2 cups boiling water for 10 minutes
  • Remove tea bags
  • Allow to cool before use 

Strawberry Basil

(Batch Recipe — 10 Servings) 

Ingredients 

  • 2 lb. fresh strawberries or 32 oz. frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup basil simple syrup***
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • Optional Plus-Up
  • Add strawberry slices and basil leaves to the mold. Try different varieties of basil, mint, or lavender. 

*** Basil Simple Syrup 

  • Equal parts water and granulated sugar
  • Simmer over medium heat until sugar dissolves
  • Remove from heat and add 6–12 basil leaves
  • Allow to cool before use

Poptail Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and puree until smooth.
  • Pour into molds.
  • Add any solid garnishes.
  • Freeze for 6 hours, or until frozen.
