Proof?

  1. It’s Maker’s Mark® turned up from 90 to 101 proof. To qualify as bourbon, whisky must be bottled at no less than 80 proof – among other prerequisites.

  2. A bold spirit like Maker’s Mark® 101 is great in cocktails. The bigger bourbon flavors stand up well to melting ice and other ingredients.

  3. The proof of a spirit is its alcohol percentage times two. For example, Maker’s Mark® 101 is 50.5% ABV. It’s elementary really.
