At our homeplace, Star Hill Farm, the flavor and quality of our whisky is shaped by the very land it comes from.

Maker’s Mark 46 is the recipe of Bill Samuels Jr., son of founders Bill and Margie, and the first new major expression since classic Maker's was released in 1958. Maker’s 46® is aged longer with ten special seared French oak staves, imparting depth and complexity. The result is a bold, rich expression, with exceptional depth and a long, enduring finish. 

The Stewards Release celebrates the dedicated team at Star Hill Farm, who meticulously oversee every aspect of the process to produce Maker’s Mark. Their craftsmanship, precision, and expertise ensure that we navigate challenges seamlessly, delivering excellence from the initial liquid to the final bottling. 
 
This release pays tribute to the unwavering care and commitment of the distillery’s “stewards,” whose attention to detail embodies our pursuit of quality in every drop.
The result is a vibrant expression, with hints of raw honey and stone fruit.

Cellar Aged 2026 release is a blend of 11-, 12- and 14-year-old Maker’s Mark, aged to taste for the first ~7 years in our warehouses and then a further 4-6 within our limestone cellar and bottled at cask strength, delivering a richer, fruitier and more complex Maker’s Mark, that’s deeper and darker with no bitterness.

Maker’s Mark Cellar Aged defines an older whisky that’s distinctly Maker’s. One rooted in burning recipes, challenging convention, and building on a taste vision generations in the making. For decades, consumers have been asking Maker’s Mark to release an older whisky. To achieve this, we leveraged our proprietary limestone cellar to slow down the tannic impact of maturation while capturing the benefits of extra age. First launched in 2023, this annual limited-edition offering will continue to showcase the artistry of blending Cellar Aged Maker’s Mark.

Maker's Mark Private Selection is a first-of-its-kind barrel program. It allows our retail or restaurant partners to craft their version of Maker's Mark – much in the way our past-and-present Maker's distillers defined theirs. Bottled at barrel proof, Maker’s Mark Cask Strength it’s the boldest representation of our craft. It’s a whisky that provides a deepened experience of our signature tasting notes,​ with amplified notes of dark cherry, toasted oak, salted caramel, plenty of warm vanilla and a harmonious finish of dark chocolate and soft spices.

Each batch of Cask Strength is aged to perfection for a minimum of 7 years, until it reaches the perfect balance of flavor, then bottled in small batches. This means that each release is unique, yet every drop is unmistakably Maker’s Mark.
