- The < 15% rule
- Spirits with ABVs below 15% should be refrigerated. If left out, an open bottle of Aperol® may spoil, but it will last about three months in the fridge.
- Sweeten the deal
- *Look for flavored syrups at your local grocery or liquor store. Flavored syrups can also be made at home. Dissolve one part sugar to one part water on the stove, and then let your favorite fruits or herbs steep in the syrup as it cools. Then strain.
